Was deciding against going out due to hangover but then Martin called and said he was going for a sail so drove down to Hillhead to join him.

Arrived around 2pm and wind was fairly solid, with most people out on 5m's. Was kicking myself for putting the JP in the car instead of the Bee, which would have been best for the conditions. But at least it gave me an excuse to go out on the Quattro. Mmmmm......

Was going well for about half an hour. Well powered up and some nice jumps. The Quattro seemed to be going fine with the 5.2, no problems there. Then the wind dropped off and I drifted, resulting in a 5 minute walk-of-shame. Wind was running with tide which didn't help. Swapped round onto the bigger board which made life easier, but wind was iffy now. On and off the plane on all my runs, not sailing all that well, and had trouble staying upwind.

Not a very exciting session and damn cold as well, but better than nothing. At least the sun was shining.
